1990 January - First Class responds to distress call for Morlocks and clash with mysterious Marauders; Morlocks are decimated in massacre

1989 October - David Haller, illegitimate son of Charles Xavier, detains First Class on Muir Island with his vast powers and schizophrenia before disappearing into parts unknown

1989 August - The First Class apprehends Sunfire, son of the Japanese UN ambassador, in his attack against Washington, D.C., which adds support to a renewal of the Mutant Registration Act

1988 July - X-Mansion’s Quist technology is upgraded with Siris technology; The First Class hosts Mara Ricci, Professor Xavier's computer specialist, who is hired to upgrade the school's computer system ("Meeting the Technopath")

1988 April-June - Factor Three abducts Xavier; First Class rescues him and exposes the Mutant Master as a Siris, an alien from the planet Yoplat

1987 March-May - Asteroid M revealed to the world when Savage Land Mutates conduct campaign of terror against known Brotherhood members; X-Men go to the Savage Land and rescue the human researchers from their Mutate captors

1987 April - Lorna and Bobby break up; Jean and Scott comfort Bobby - "Screws Fall Out"

1986 October - Jean Grey and Scott Summers are rescued by fellow First Class when abducted by Morlocks in the NYC sewers; Bobby and Lorna begin dating

1986 September - Public debate between Sentinel creator Bolivar Trask and Charles Xavier leads to them being kidnapped and taken to Sentinel hidden fortress. First Class rescues Xavier while Trask destroys Alpha Sentinel/Master Mold

1986 August - Lorna Dane arrives at X-Mansion

1986 July - Mesmero hatches plot to abduct mutant teenagers; First Class and Brotherhood fight Mesmero; Wideawake exposed as financier; Mutant Response Division formed as a result

1986 January - Sentinels overrun San Marco with heavy collateral damage; Magneto activates nuclear device and flees; First Class disarms bomb with help of Quicksilver; Scott and Jean consummate their relationship - "Forever and Again"

November 1985 - South American nation San Marco overthrown by Magneto. Wideawake resumes Sentinel production.

1985 October - First Class apprehends the Vanisher

1985 June - First Class battles the New York Maggia and loses their first Stratojet; Count Nefaria brought to justice
